Wax pencil is used for your initial brow mapping to show the client the shape of the brow or it can also be used in other permanent makeup applications to outline the area.

They have a black and a white one. I chose the white because my eyebrows are very dark so if I used the black, it would’ve looked like an eyebrow filling gone wrong LOOL but I really like this pencil. I marked my eyebrows with it and it was really easy to see and it didn’t smudge easily because I thread my own eyebrows. In the past, the thread would remove the pencil marks I would make wth other wax pencils and then I would either have to redraw the marks or just freehand it.

I have dark eyebrows, they’re black so using the black wax pencil would literally just make it look like I’m filling my eyebrows in LOOL so I opted for the white but I like how subtle the white one is. I can see it clearly on my skin when I’m doing my eyebrows when I outline around the areas I want to keep. It also doesn’t smudge away from the thread or spoolie. It’s also very sturdy so you know it won’t snap in ur hand or break the “beak” of the pencil if you press a little like normal eyebrow pencils or wax pencils. I’ve only had to use it once but that’s all it took for me to love it so much already.
